Planning meeting for upcoming Museum Day and woemn's History Day
Stroll and conversate throughout the streets of Old Sacramento in historic attire, whilst statying in character and conversing with the visitors.
Museums will be open to the public for free. Trhroughout the rgion museums such as the State history Museum, Califonia History Museum, Crocker - will be open to the public. Make a day of it and go to as many as you can. Watch for adds in the newspaper or go online to find out what museums are participating.

1-2 costumed Stroll
Recreation of everyday life in "Sacramento City " in 1852. Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic thoughout the Labor Day Weekend. Each day veues will be manned from 10am till 4-5pm by members of the Old Sacramento Living History group and volunteers.
Venues including, a Doctor's/Dentist office, laundry, grocers, saloons, military encampment, blacksmith, gold panning, 49er camp, etc. will be set up in the area between the History Museum and the Eagle Theatre throughout the weekend.
